Officer investigated a suspicious odor in north towers and could not locate the source of the odor.

Male student requested to speak with an officer at Brighton Lecture Hall Room 189.

Officer assisted Lyon Co. deputy with car stop in 1800 Merchant

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a search for a suspicious person in 700 Market.

Officers assisted a repossession company locate vehicle KS Personalized ‘JMULLAH’ on campus.

Officer stopped KS PYV907 at 300 E 12th. Verbal warning for defective headlight.

Officer stopped KS 187BZK in 1100 Constitution for defective headlight.

Subject was taken into custody for a suspended driver’s license and transported to Lyon Co. jail.

Officer stopped KS 577ENE in 1500 Highland St. Verbal warning for driving without headlights.

Officer assisted Lyon Co. deputy with a domestic battery call at 12th and Market.

Officer stopped KS dealer tag D21692 at 1100 and Commercial. Written warning for a stop light violation at 12th and Commercial.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a search for a suspicious person in 900 Constitution.

Jan. 25

Officers responded to one vehicle non-injury accident at Highland and Morse Dr.

Officer stopped KS 194FMC at Morse Hall Complex loading zone. Vehicle was having mechanical issues.

Officer stopped KS 934BHT in 1300 Merchant. Verbal warning for driving with high beam headlights on.

Officer stopped KS 116GDU in 200 W 12th. Verbal warning for defective headlight.

Officer stopped KS 251GMB in 1300 Merchant for stop driving without headlights. Male operator was taken into custody for driving with suspended license and transported to Lyon Co. jail.

Officer stopped KS 934BHT in 1800 Merchant. Verbal warning for driving with high beam headlights on.

Officer stopped WI 198TVE at 1300 Highland St. Verbal warning for a one-way violation in Sector 8.

Officer assisted the Emporia Police Dept. with a call on County Road 160.

Officer contacted operator of a vehicle parked by King Lake and advised not to park in the grass.

Custodial staff reported a faint smoky smell in the Art Annex. Also, the heater appears to be off. And the water in the restroom will not run, nor will the toilet flush.

Officer stopped KS 740CVJ at 15th and Wooster Dr. Verbal warning for not wearing seatbelt.

Officer stopped a vehicle at 15th and Wooster Dr. Citation for no registration.

Officer stopped KS124DCW at 15th and Center. Verbal warning for failure to stop for pedestrian at crosswalk.

Officer stopped KS RPT467 in 1200 Market. Verbal warning for defective head light.
