Baptist church hosts meal

A Bar-B-Que Ribs and Bake Sale will be held at 11 a.m. this Saturday, April 2, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 730 Sylvan. Proceeds from the sale will be used for the Vision 2015 Project, which consists of many renovations which have been completed in remodeling and enhancing the beauty and functionality of the church. A meal consisting of 3 bones, coleslaw, baked beans, dessert and soda costs $9. Individual components of the meal can be purchased separately if desired. Serving will continue until supplies are sold out. Meals can be eaten in the church Fellowship Hall or taken out, and delivery is available in Emporia for a charge of $1. To place a pick-up order, call 342-8218, 342-4633 or 342-7635 to ensure that your meal is still available when you arrive.
