Emporia State confirmed that a body was found on campus Monday morning in the tunnel under Interstate 35.
The tunnel is located at the north end of campus across from the soccer field. ESU police are handling the case.
“No further information will be released at this time as police are working to notify family,” said Gwen Larson, Director of Media Relations and Internal Communication at ESU.
