Hoping to end victim shaming, two RSOs protest in Union Square
Amanda Goering As part of their day of action, “Carry that Weight,” two recognized student organizations, SAFE and URGE, chant in Union Square. To bring to light the issue of rape on college campuses, the students joined to walk around campus, carrying a pillow or mattress like Emma Sulkowicz at the University of Columbia.
