Emma DePriest is a senior secondary English education major and creative writing minor. She started on The Bulletin as an Opinion Writer in 2012, and then took her current position as a Staff Writer in 2013. She completed her time at The Bulletin during the fall of 2014. She aims to graduate in 2015, and from there would like to become a teacher, as well as settle in Chicago and publish horror novels. On campus, she works as the president of PRIDE and a member of Zoiks!. Comedy, like that of Zoiks!, is large part of her life, as she loves to make people laugh. She is an avid writer and an avid reader, and a lover of animals. In addition to being published, she wants to continue to work with both comedy and laughter as she gets older.
