Alex Hammerschmidt is a freshman English major with a history minor. She is a photographer for The Bulletin and started in the fall of 2013. Her first and greatest love is reading. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen because she finds Lizzie and Darcy’s love/hate relationship “funny.” She also enjoys playing her cello, which she first started learning in sixth grade. She said interacting with the actors from the homecoming musical this year was a fun part of being a photographer for The Bulletin. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2017 and afterward, would like to attend graduate school at Emporia State for library and information management.
