An Emporia State student has been charged with two counts of rape in connection with a reported sexual assault Nov. 1 at the Kappa Sigma fraternity near campus. A criminal complaint filed in Lyon County District Court at Emporia identified the accused as Corey Mcgaugh, a member of the fraternity. The fraternity, located at 136 W. 12th St., was suspended by the organization’s national headquarters after the incident was reported. Mcgaugh, 20, is free on $100,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 24.
