Founded in 1901, The Bulletin is the independent, student-run news publication of Emporia State University. The newspaper serves Emporia State, its students, faculty and staff and the broader Emporia community. It primarily publishes news that concerns or affects the University community, but also covers news in the city of Emporia that is of interest to readers.

OUR MISSON

It is the mission of The Bulletin editors and staff to create a newspaper that is essential, compelling, informative and useful. We will adhere to the highest standard of journalistic ethics, objectivity and fact-based reporting and conduct ourselves in a manner that allows readers see us as a credible and trustworthy member of the Emporia State community.
