Michael Emerick, an Ohio native returning disc golfer for the Dynamic Disc tournament, practices Sunday at the disc golf course at Peter Pan Park. Dynamic Discs, who is hosting the Glass Blown Open professional disc golf tournament, allowed Emporia State students and staff to use their discs.

Emporia State art majors and featured guest, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen, create glass sculptures at the Glass Blowout on Saturday April 15 at the Art Annex. This year’s themed sculpture was “party animals” which consisted of animals wearing party hats.

The event taught the audience different aspects to consider while communicating with people who have a disability.
