Okay, so we’re down to a bigot and a liar.
Or, if you’re a real dreamer, an idiot or a misinformed candidate.
Let’s break it down real quick:
Donald Trump, is he even a real candidate?
He lies, cheats, steals and hasn’t even paid his taxes.
He has no political experience and doesn’t even prepare for debates, but somehow thinks he is more qualified than any other candidate?
We will admit that he does have some business experience, but how far will that really take him when he can’t get along with anyone, i.e. people of color, women, the LGBTQIA+ community?
Sure, he “always speaks his mind,” but is that really a good thing when everything that spouts out of his orange mouth is a load of crap?
So, we turn to Hillary Clinton. Or not.
Sure Clinton may have more experience than the other candidates, as she was Secretary of State under the Obama Administration.
But how valuable is this experience really, when her role in office is surrounded by suspicion, controversy, lies and corruption?
She has a charity foundation, but even that is shady. Multiple news sources have reported that, allegedly, the same people who gave big donations to the Clinton Foundation, found their names on guest lists to important political meetings.
And do we even need to bring up the completely unethical situation that is her emails?
So, let’s turn to the other, possible leading lady: Jill Stein.
Stein was a practicing doctor for 27 years, and she seems highly educated and smart, but is she really aware of how political things work?
We, like many others, are far from convinced.
Stein has a “plan” to cancel student loan debt, by essentially printing more money. Really?
We think most people know how terrible of an idea that is.
But she still retains support, as people want to vote with her based on her principles. This would be all fine and good, if she didn’t change her principles the way she changes her tweets everyday.
So, we turn to our last candidate, Gary Johnson.
Not only is he uneducated, he couldn’t even name one world leader off of the top of his head, but he wants to shrink the government, to a fault.
When asked what he would get rid of, he said the department of commerce, education and housing and urban development.
Really, Gary?
How stupid do you have to be to want to get rid of those departments?
It looks like you need a little extra “department of education” in your life.
We’ll admit it. The candidates this year are garbage.
It’s the result of a corrupt political system that has been allowed to fester without anyone acting upon it.
So it’s time to act.
All we can tell you to do is to follow your conscience because in the end, only you know how to best take care of yourself.
Do what you can to pay attention to the news, but in the end?
You’re not choosing the lesser of two evils.
You’re choosing the smarter of four idiots.
